Blackjack Strategy

Unlike games such as poker, blackjack strategy is really pretty simple, as the same common situations occur over and over and over. One of the beauties of blackjack is that the casino doesn’t care if you have a cheat sheet for basic strategy, and will sometimes provide a card for you, with instructions on how to play common situations.

The hardest part about blackjack strategy isn’t even learning it, but is instead sticking to it when you’re on a bad run of cards, as it’s tempting to get frustrated and make plays that you know aren’t mathematically correct, such as standing on 16 versus a dealer’s face up 10. You still need to hit there, even if you’ve busted the last nine times in a row when you hit in that situation
