The Tactics of a Professional Blackjack Cheat part one
DISCLAIMER:
These tactics and strategies to play and beat Blackjack games with shuffling machines are designed for THEORETICAL interest only and are not designed to be used for real. Some of these moves involve cheating which not only is unethical but also may be illegal depending on where you are playing Blackjack. These articles form information that was either given to me by professional cheats or has been picked up due to experience of working as a croupier down the years.
It is simply because casino like blackjack that have shuffling machines cannot be beaten by conventional card counting and shuffle tracking methods that casinos think that they cannot be beaten at all. This causes them to let their guard down on this particular game. The games true weakness is not the machine but the dealer, the human element is always where the weaknesses in any casino can be found.
Speaking from someone who is ex-gaming and was in that industry for ten years then I was in the perfect position to know just how croupiers think and also what tactics and outlook casino management tend to have. In different countries, they may speak a different language but their outlook is exactly the same.
The Importance of Basic Strategy
Before you begin to do anything else, you must learn basic strategy. There are basic strategy tables in my book and they are not that difficult to learn. You need to know basic strategy because this will be your springboard to use the other tactics used by professional cheats that I will be divulging shortly. Accurate basic strategy will reduce your disadvantage on blackjack to roughly 0.5%. The rules of blackjack vary from country to country and even from club to club in some countries so I cannot give you an accurate basic strategy chart at this stage.
When you are only labouring under a 0.5% disadvantage then this is not far away from breaking even. With an average bet of $10 on a game with 100 hands per hour dealt on average then your expectation is minus $5 per hour which is basically nothing.
This is half of just one average bet and is the strong base that you will use to attack the game. It is possible to use the generic basic strategy that is in my book but you will lose a little less money by using the correct strategy for where you live. When compounded over a year, this adds up to a very substantial amount of money and it is better off in your pocket than the casinos.
What Types of Games to Sit In.
Your strategy as you will shortly discover will depend on dealers either making forced or un-forced errors. Because these errors will be your bread and butter then what you must avoid at all costs is to play in games where there is big action hitting the felt. Big blackjack games tend to make dealers concentrate more because they instinctively know that a mistake can be very costly and also that their game will be watched by casino management so they will tighten up even more.
This is bad for you because tight dealers do not make mistakes and this will crush your hourly rate. This is precisely why you cannot play for too high a denomination chips.
