The Tactics of a Professional Blackjack Cheat part seven
I have already said that you had to buy in and play with the same denomination blackjack chips. Well I am going to slightly contradict myself here because there is a very good move that you can execute using $5 chips and $1 chips. This move applies whenever games do not have close supervisors or they have supervisors who are watching more than one table. It also only works on blackjack games where the dealer is very sluggish at straightening any bets before they deal the cards.
You can actually place two or three casino $1 chips on top of a $5 chip in such a way as to disguise the fact that there is a $5 chip underneath. Whenever you get an advantageous double or split then you simply put a stack of 2 x $5 chips at the side of the bet topped with a $1 chip. Your original bet was $7 but you have placed $11 at the side of it.
You then feign distraction as explained earlier and the blackjack dealer/supervisor will either notice your bet and correct it in which case do not try the move again. Or they will miss it. If you win the double and they spot it then, apologise profusely and claim that you must be blind not have seen the correct chip. If you are careful how you place the bets then the dealer may not know which was the original bet, the $7 or the $11.
As always be friendly and act stupid, do not make them curious, threatened or angry at you. Be their friend and they will be yours, do this with certain people and you virtually own them. Getting a blackjack bet with an extra $4 on to what you originally had turns into $8 if that double is successful. As you know, you are only -$5 per hour to begin with. Like with any move, do not repeat the same move too often, not only will it get noticed but the staff will watch for that move again.
Stealing other punters chips
It amazes me at times just how careless punters are with their chips. Pro blackjack cheats get at least one opportunity per hour to take chips from a punter. Once again, the key is to keep it small and not very often. Little and often, little and often , little and often is engrained into their psyches. I am not going to go into any detail about moves to steal from punters because they would never come across correctly in print. But I will say this, if you take the time and the trouble to look out for them, they will suddenly stand out like you would not believe.
Whoever invented the casino gaming chip was a genius because money when converted into chips just seems to have an effect on certain people of making them think that they are not in possession of real money. They will scatter casino chips about, drop chips, go and place action on roulette etc. Using time misdirection and especially with dealers chatting with supervisors can open up many opportunities…..it pays to look for them.
Remember that one again again, this series of articles in no way recommends or endorses cheating in any way shape or form on any type of casino gambling…..THESE ARTICLES ARE OF NOTHING MORE THAN ACADEMIC INTEREST EXCEPT TO THE PEOPLE WHO CHOOSE TO OPERATE THESE ILLEGAL PRACTICES.
